The Story Behind the Journey

Some are filled with joy and gratitude. Others challenge us to trust God when the path ahead isn't clear. It was through these ordinary moments of everyday life that the poems in Where Faith Takes Flight began to take shape.
In June 2022, I never imagined God would lead me to begin writing a blog called One Day at a Time. What started as a simple step of obedience soon became a collection of poems inspired by my own walk with Christ—celebrating His faithfulness through every season.
Each poem reflects a moment where God gently reminded me to pause, trust Him, and keep moving forward one day at a time.

Meet Anne
After a 50-year career in accounting, Anne Wooten answered God's call to a new season as a Kingdom Christian Transition Life Coach, author, musician, and contributing writer for The Sisterhood Magazine. What began as a simple step of obedience in 2022—writing a blog called One Day at a Time—soon blossomed into a writing ministry dedicated to encouraging others through faith, Scripture, and hope.
Where Faith Takes Flight was Anne's first published book, introducing the message that has become the heartbeat of her ministry: walking with Christ one day at a time. Through poetry, original photography, coaching, and writing, she continues to encourage others to trust God's faithfulness and discover His purpose for every season of life.
